How We Can Help You
FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT
The backbone of the practice at National Wage and Hour Law is the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. Enacted in 1938 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the law aims to insure "all our abled-bodied working men and women a fair day's pay for a fair day's work." More specifically, the law provides minimum wage and overtime protections to workers across the country.
STATE SPECIFIC WAGE AND HOUR LAWS
The attorneys at National Wage and Hour Law have been admitted to federal courts across the country and secured millions of dollars in recoveries on behalf of their clients. In addition to the Fair Labor Standards Act that applies to non-exempt workers across the country, many states offer additional claims and remedies under state wage and hour laws.
BREACH OF CONTRACT AND UNJUST ENRICHMENT
In many unpaid wage claims, the facts of the case can give rise to a common law breach of contract claim - even when no written agreement exists. In other instances, employees may have a legitimate claim under the common law theory of unjust enrichment. The attorneys at National Wage and Hour law turn over every stone to ensure every available legal cause of action is pursued to recover your unpaid wages.
